An app isn't just about development and developers. Users are just as important. And Krita has reached a really cool milestone: the first comic book page done in Krita! By Animtim -- and don't you agree with me that there are shades of Gotlib and Alexis here? As well as other influences, of course. But it's the bottom-left panel that keeps me coming back to it. Here it is:

The only problem is that I want to read the text -- and the rest of the story!

Takes me back to my days of enjoying many hours "wasted" reading bizzare, surreal UK comics each week...

I second the motion for sharing the story! :D

I must say that it does look good.
And same time I still feel that the texturing paint (like the pants) needs somekind randomizing or jitter. But very very good looking artwork is possible to get done with Krita and I bet it is easy as well.

And what comes to users / developers. The old Unix meme is not wrong: "Every user is a developer". It means that every user has opinions from the software and their opinions counts. They can be bug reports, wishes or something else. Even that users do not know how to code, they usually give such info what developers would not be thought in the first place.
